Financial Information

At LRK Dental, we understand that budgeting for dental treatment is important. Our team is available to review dental insurance benefits, file claims, and help you better understand your financial options ahead of time.

Our doctors are participating providers with Unum Dental Network, Guardian Preferred/Select, United Concordia/Elite Plus, Highmark/Medicare Advantage, and Delaware Medicaid for children.

For patients with other plans or without dental insurance, we accept cash, checks, and credit cards, and offer patient financing options such as Cherry and CareCredit to help make the treatment you need more affordable.

Do You Take Dental Insurance?

Yes. Our doctors are participating providers with Unum Dental Network, Guardian Preferred/Select, United Concordia/Elite Plus, Highmark/Medicare Advantage, and Delaware Medicaid for children. Dental insurance coverage varies by plan and typically includes annual limits and out-of-pocket costs, but our office is prepared to help you maximize your benefits. Please bring your up-to-date insurance information with you to each appointment so our team can review benefits with you and file claims more efficiently on your behalf.

What if I don't have dental insurance?

Not a problem; many of our patients do not have dental insurance. Our team will work with you to review costs and discuss financing options for your treatment.

What if I have dental insurance but my plan isn't listed?

Even if your dental insurance plan isn’t listed above, our office can still file claims on your behalf and help you maximize your benefit. Dental insurance plans vary widely, but our team will work with you to explain expected out-of-pocket costs before treatment begins and the process for insurance reimbursement when seeing out-of-network providers.

What are your hours?

Our office is open Monday through Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. We’re usually able to schedule new patient dentist appointments within two weeks.

Can I bring my kids?

Yes. As a family dental practice, LRK Dental welcomes patients of all ages. We recommend parents start bringing their children to the office at age three for a quick checkup and to meet the staff. This early introduction to the dentist helps children become comfortable with the environment at a young age.

What if I have dental anxiety?

We understand that many patients feel nervous about visiting the dentist. Our team will take a gentle approach, talk through your concerns, and help put your mind at ease so you can relax and remain calm in the dental chair.

Do you offer dental care in Spanish?

Yes. LRK Dental has Spanish-speaking team members available to help make communication easier throughout your visit, whether you’re scheduling an appointment, talking through treatment options, or planning next steps. We want you to feel comfortable and understood at every visit.

My denture doesn't fit. Can you help?

Dentures that slip or cause discomfort are often related to bone loss over time and adhesives are only a temporary fix. Strategically placed dental implants can help stabilize dentures, improving comfort, function, and confidence. If you would like to learn more, our team is happy to schedule an initial evaluation with you and discuss your options in more detail.

Why do I need a crown instead of a filling?

Dental fillings work well for small areas of decay, but when a tooth has deeper damage or a fracture, a filling may not provide enough support. A dental crown covers and strengthens the tooth, reduces sensitivity over time, and helps protect further breakage. If you have any additional questions, our team can schedule time to discuss which treatment option is best for you.

What types of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, personal checks, and major credit cards.

What kind of patient financing options do you offer?

At LRK Dental, we offer patient financing through CareCredit, which allows eligible patients to break treatment costs into no-interest, long term monthly payments. Our team can help you apply online to be pre-approved for treatment right in our office.

Patients can also use Proceed Finance, which provides long-term patient financing solutions with fixed rates, no hidden fees, and easy-to-understand terms. Their mission is to make life-changing treatments possible for more people.
