Some patients have the benefit of insurance coverage to help with the cost of their dental care. Dental insurance plans are designed to assist the patient obtain preventative and some restorative treatment. They often have yearly maximum coverage limits for each individual patient. Dental insurance never pays for 100% of dental treatment so you should expect to pay a portion of the cost of tooth restoration, repair, or replacement. 

Regardless of your insurance coverage, we always advise you of the dental procedures that are in your best interest and help you make a decision that supports your long-term health and wellness.

Insurance benefits are determined by a contract between employers when they contract with the insurance carrier, so each plan is different. It is important for the patient to be aware of their insurance coverage and benefit limitations. 

Our office will do everything possible to help you obtain maximum benefits, and we will prepare and submit the necessary forms for you. Our doctors are participating providers with Delta Dental Premier, Guardian Preferred/Select, and Delaware Medicaid for children.

Please remember to bring your insurance information with you to your appointment to expedite the claim filing process. 

No insurance? No problem! Many of our patients do not carry any dental insurance. We will help you fit your necessary dental care into your budget so that you can protect your smile.

Yes, we are a family dental practice and have patients of all ages. 

We typically start scheduling appointments at age three for a checkup and meet and greet.  We want your whole family to be happy at the dentist and starting them early helps ensure that they are comfortable and will have a positive experience.

We understand that budget is a concern for most people and fitting your necessary dental care into your budget is important. We are always up front and honest when it comes to the cost of your treatment because no one likes surprises where money is concerned.

Upon your request, we will provide you with a detailed explanation of our recommended treatment and an estimate of the fees involved for your treatment. We will also provide all of your available treatment options so that you can weigh the benefits and cost of each.

We expect payment at the time dental services are rendered unless other financial arrangements have been made ahead of time. When making arrangements, we will take into consideration any estimated insurance benefits that are available according to your insurance plan. 

For your out-of-pocket expenses, we accept cash, personal checks, and major credit cards. We also offer interest-free plans (with prior approval) through CareCredit®. 

We can recommend treatment broken down into phases, addressing the worst conditions first so that you can move forward with treatment at a pace that fits within your budget.

If you have any questions, our staff will be happy to speak with you regarding the financials of your treatment.

We see our patients by appointment and reserve that time specifically for you. We do not double book because we believe you deserve dedicated time with one of our dentists to address any oral health concerns or conditions you may have. We respect our patients’ time and make every effort to remain on schedule. Once you have made an appointment, please be aware that this time is reserved especially for you.

Our office will send you an email or text message several days in advance and ask for a response to confirm your appointment. Making every effort to confirm the time set aside just for you, shows our commitment to your excellent dental health. By responding to us to confirm your appointment, we know that you join us in this commitment. 

We understand that our patients have busy schedules and that you would probably rather spend your time somewhere other than the dental chair. We work skillfully and efficiently to keep your treatment on track. We believe in doing things right the first time and know that both your financial and your time investments are important.
