What if I have a dental emergency?

Please call immediately if you have a dental problem you feel requires emergency treatment. We consider a dental emergency to be any time you experience pain, bleeding, broken teeth, or damaged restorations. If you ever have questions about whether or not your condition is an emergency, call our office right away. We can help determine whether you need immediate treatment.

If you experience trauma and believe you have head or neck injuries, contact 911 or go to your nearest emergency room for treatment. If you experience bleeding that won’t stop, you should also locate the nearest emergency room to receive assistance immediately.

During a dental emergency, we will schedule you as quickly as possible so we can minimize your discomfort and restore your health. We understand that dental emergencies can be traumatic experiences and take your health and comfort very seriously. When you contact our office, we will ask you a series of questions to help prepare us for your arrival.

Should an emergency arise after our regularly scheduled office hours and you are a patient established with LRK Dental, please call 302-629-7115 for further instructions on how to reach our after hours emergency phone.

Even if you are a new patient, we welcome you to call and schedule an appointment as soon as possible.
